And why me?
I’ve been there… I’ve walked the walk of feeling sluggish, down on myself, unattractive and overweight and I understand how this feels.
I’ve relied on quick-fixes, crash diets, the latest "miracle plan" crazy exercise regimes I hated, weird cosmetic "slimming" & "toning" treatments which did nothing but put a dent in my bank balance and leave me feeling even more frustrated.
A lot of this was linked to long hours at a corporate property job with high stress and not looking after myself outside working hours – what a similar story so many of us women tell regarding jobs – and to top it off, two years ago I was made redundant despite the fact I knew I had been giving it my all. Not great…
Long story short
through this rollercoaster of a decade I’ve gathered knowledge, skills and experience to get myself out of the constant cycle of beating myself up and knew I had to help other women get from frustrated to feel good.
My interest in people and helping them goes way back to when I decided to chose to combine Music and Psychology at University. Since then I've trained in coaching at Oxford University, and have certifications in Nutrition for Weight Loss, Sport and Exercise, Pre- and Post-natal clients and childhood nutrition and obesity and I’m here to help you feel good again, through my bespoke approach tailored to you and what you need. Plus you'll start building tools and techniques you can use for life!
There is no magic pill to make anything better...
but coaching really is as close as you can get!
Thanks for today. I have gone from a potentially dangerous point of uncertainty to a clear view of the next steps and I've taken some action already!
You provided that "sounding board" and non-judgmental voice to my thoughts; giving me a framework to formulate my thinking and permission to think freely without prejudice or preconceptions about possible outcomes.
